I am always telling people to keep being active also when the value of steem drops. I just wanted to make it clear why. Yes the calculation are not the easiest one. Bottom line is that you do get paid in vests and when the post reaches the payout date it id converted to steem and SBD.
Regardless of the price of steem, based in the number of vests you will always get the same ;)
