these are valid points. steem has always been centered around whales (ned being the biggest one). it's not censorship-resistant nor decentralized as he's marketing it. right now it's just another facebook knockoff (in fact worse because now you have to pay to be active).
steemit inc better get their shit together and wake up if this platform were to ever hit mainstream.
You again said it perfectly... They are so far out of touch with this new vision that they have really turned some people off.... People are pretty tough and can work through many issues, but when you see something that looks unfixable, then people leave. Right now its not there, but if they stick with the logic of charging you to do something you want, then it won't take long.

yes online platforms can crumble in days, if not SECONDS. but again, it's easy to be out of touch when you're the biggest stakeholder and everybody wants to suck your dick.
