People say religion is one of the greatest problems in the world today and that is somehow true, but that doesn't mean all religions are evil or preaches hatred for other religions. But one thing is common with some religion and that common thing is the hatred they get for you if you don't believe in what they believe and that is where the problem lies.
The same thing is happening already in our crypto space, lately I've seen one crypto community Hating another, I've seen one crypto community making conscious and deliberate attempt to bring down the other crypto community, just because they refuse to HODL same tech belief.
The sets of people of people with this attitude towards other crypto projects are the BITCOIN MAXIMALIST.: yea!!! You dare not mention anything other than BITCOIN in their midst, else you're dead.
I think if this mindset of "BITCOIN is King" is used wrongly by some people already.
I hope people open their minds to possibilities and stop thinking technology will never improve and become better.. I've read about bitcoin and believe in the tech, but I'll never close my eyes to the possibility that one day, it could be beaten by another tech. Except Satoshi is a God sent from heaven that no man can beat what he has created
Technology is always evolving.... The first computer that was created, is not the best today, the first iPhone created, is not the best today, the first television created is not the best today.
Steem is the first social media built on a Blockchain, but today it's not the only one. competition is coming from different angles now. Now it's left to us the steem community to grow our ecosystem else our dominance as the number 1 most successful decentralized social network could be defeated.
That's why I love that Facebook guy, he looked and noticed the old tech won't work, now he's working on his own Blockchain. He refused to close his eyes to the possibilities of this tech. Is he the only rich guy in the world? No! Other rich folks are still calling Blockchain and cryptocurrency scam, but not the Facebook guy.
One of the mistakes you'll make as a newbie in cryptocurrency is to believe in a maximalist.... Learn to do your own research.
As a newbie to crypto Dont create any form of hatred for any crypto project without you doing your own study even after doing your won research still don't hate let the motivation for your new project be birthed out of love, not out of hatred.
I still buy and store bitcoin and some other cryptocurrencies. Tomorrow we may have something better than eos or steem or Ethereum who knows......?
"" don't close your mind to possibilities", this technology is still at its infancy for you to shut yourself in or out.
