Some may say The Green lantern of the Marvel universe due to the similarity of how Richard got his power from the original comics, but he is such a powerful character.
This is Shadowing and this is why i feel the MCU needs NOVA PRIME!
History of Nova Corp and Nova Prime
The mantel of nova prime has been worn by a few characters but the most known by all is Richard Rider and Sam Alexander.
Most of you will recognize the name of Sam Alexander from the animated series Ultimate Spider-man and to tell you the truth this is where I also came to know and love this character.
But i will unfortunately base the history on one of these characters due to length of post reasons.
Richard was born in Hempstead New York. The Character was chosen by a Nova corps agent to follow up his title as Nova when Xandar was attacked. The alien called Rhomann Dey was the last surviving member of the nova corp and had chosen Richard to inherent his amazing power as Nova prime. Dey shortly after died due to being critically wounded by the intergalactic Pirate called Zorr.
The power Richard obtained from Dey enhanced strength, invulnerability, power to fly and Energy projection and absorption. Richard also obtained a suit and decided to become a superhero.
MCU and why Nova

For those who kept on track with James Gun and Guardians of the galaxy knows that James said the team will forever change after Vol 2 and Avengers Infinity war and Avengers 4. This means the team will have vacancies.
I would definitely say this is the time to open up to the cosmic characters of the MCU not yet seen by the audience.
Yes this is where everyone says:" But ShadoWing we already saw the Nova corps In Guardians 1 and they looked stupid and like a bunch of A-holes with bucket heads."
This is true and why James Gun keeps ignoring the outcry for Nova is astonishing. Nova is really powerful and he needs to be justified. Richard would do great if let’s say Star Lord does not lead the Guardians after Infinity war. He is a leader and has the characteristics of a great leader.
Sam Alexander would also be a great choice, when Kevin Feige said he wants Spider-man to be the face of the MCU after Avengers 4 the realization was that he wants to invest in younger talent and younger audience. Sam would do great in a team like The Champions or the Young avengers. Teamed up with Spider-man, Iron Lad or Iron Heart, Hawkeye Kate Bishop, Hulkling (Skrulls have been confirmed by marvel) and let’s say Wiccan. A young team of heroes will be a fresh turn of events and they could all come from the Avengers Facility seen in the MCU.
The cockiness of each of these two Nova characters are needed in the MCU. If Disney were to acquire the rights of Fox, the next big cosmic Villain the MCU needs is Galactus.
Nova and Galactus has history, Nova also has history with the Silver Surfer, Annihilus, Thanos, Doctor Doom, Eddie Brock, Super Nova. This is a few of the characters whom is Villains and enemies of Nova Prime. These characters are all great villains of Marvel and either of them will make great movies for either a Nova movie or a Champions movie.
Nova is a human Character, but part of the cosmic universe of Marvel and I feel that this is a great platform to develop the cosmic side of marvel.
Conclution:
Nova is a great character and after Infinity war the MCU will change, I feel it’s time that the cosmic part of marvel is the ideal place to expand the MCU to, characters like Venom and Nova needs the cosmic side of the MCU and after the battle of Thanos the Cosmic world of Marvel and the MCU as a whole will be reshaped.

Post about Adam Warlock, we need some info on him before Infinity War drops. We only briefly saw him in the last GOTG movie and don't really know what to expect from him in the MCU.
