El magnate e inversionista de Silicon Valley Tim Draper mostro su interés por las criptomonedas, en especial por el Bitcoin aludiendo que tienen más poder y es más grande que todo el internet. Draper menciono que el bitcoin es inclusive más grande que el acero, el renacimiento y es inclusive más poderoso que la revolución industrial. Además de ello menciono que esta tecnología está impactando en todos los rincones del mundo.
El inversor de sillicon Valley menciono que se siente mas seguro invirtiendo su dinero en bitcoins que guardándolo en su cuenta bancaria de Wells Fargo, además de hacer alusión a que dentro de poco podremos comprar un café y paguemos con dinero fíat seriamos el hazme reír del comercio por no utilizar criptomonedas como medio de cambio.
Además de lo anterior durante la reunión en donde se dieron todas estas declaraciones se discutió fuertemente sobre la volatilidad del mercado de las criptomonedas y la posibilidad de una burbuja financiera. Ante tales declaraciones el inversionista afirmo que son puras ridiculeces y que algo tan innovador que genera cambios a nivel internacional no podría caer en una burbuja.
