Hello Steemians!
It's been a while since I've entered a photo contest! Oddly, in the busiest time of year, I just happened upon a moment of downtime courtesy of my son having minor knee surgery. It's a good excuse to catch up here on Steemit, see what everyone is up to, meet new folks, and be generally impressed with the quality of photography work that's being posted. It feels quite good being a part of this awesome community!
A big good luck to all the contestants! And a thank you to @daveks for hosting this fun and creative outlet for our Steemit community. Thanks also to this week's judge @mweich. These things take time to do and I really appreciate the effort!
As with all my photography work, I use an iPhone 6s Plus and the Hipstamatic app.

Beautiful photo! I love the square format and the framing. The head tilted down a little bit adds a lot to the silhouette and story of the image. Very nicely captured!

Wow this is a beautiful shot. I love that he is looking down slightly. Most people assume all travel is wonderful but I do a lot of work travel and this represents to me the burden of the travel; head down, struggling to carry the load.

Yes, most people look at travel as something positive maybe because it's associated for so many as escape to do with vacations, but for the person who travels for a living, there is indeed a burden...I happened upon this man as I was walking down the street and I had that "Death of a Salesman" feeling, I was happy of course to be able to capture this moment. On the one hand, not many people consistently use black and white photos. People tend to choose vintage colors or colors instead of black and white. Many people think black and white look dark and not pretty. In fact, if you can process it correctly, black and white photos will be very cool ... like your photo
