LOL. The sheer amount of fundamentalism in the Bitcoin maximalist crowds is staggering. I'm just glad Satoshi didn't advocate martyrdom in the white paper.

Satoshi must be rolling in his grave now considering what r/bitcoin and blockstream have done to the currency.
I somehow wish he never left and would've taken more control, but then again I guess he didn't really care too much how bitcoin will do, as long as it opens way for the technology in a broader effect, whether it is bitcoin or some other currency that takes over in the future, his work is done.
