So, I would take you through the simple steps you need to take for you to be in possession of your bytes in less than 5 minutes, I got mine without any stress, almost without blinking an eye.

Open your wallet and Behold!
Gracefully click on CHAT
Click on Bot Store to see the several brilliant bots locked away in the wallet
Out of all those nice bots you gotta chose one, one that would connect you to steemit and would the all byteball thingy useful to a steemit user like us
Click on Steem attestation bot
After you click on the bot you're gonna see something like this
If you see that image up it means you're doing it right. Now click on that OPEN CHAT button
You're in the bot now click on the ellipses (...) at the bottom left
After clicking that, you'd get some options, click the one that reads insert my address
You're not far from the mulah!
You're going to receive your address in the text area, Then click on the send button; extreme right
You're then going to receive a steem connect link, kindly click on it to link and verify your steemit account

Its going to take you to your steemconnect page your your authorization, something like below, follow the normal process, for those not used to steemconnect, see picture below
Click on the Continue button and click on your username on the next page
From there you will be advised to return to your app to continue the process
Once you return to your wallet you'd be asked how you'd like to store your username, kindly click private
You'd be presented the response below, click on [Request to sign message *your address*]
Kindly sign the address
You are good to go.
Your byte and bonus would already be in your wallet balance by now.
NOTE: The quantity of byte you will receive is subject to your reputation on steemit, reputation should not be less than 30
