Taking pictures is fun and awakens the adventurer in me. It opens my eyes and my heart and makes me look closely. Sometimes I succeed in capturing exactly what I see and feel ... and sometimes I can't believe I couldn't bring the special of the situation to the picture. Of course, technical knowledge that you have or don't have is very important ... but the heart of the picture is the expression of our ability to perceive what is there and to recognize the beauty in it. Sometimes I think our pictures reflect part of us ... but that's just a thought ...
