My wife and I have this little obsession with cabins. I follow /r/cabinporn at reddit and this one came up today in the feed and I wanted to share. We are hoping to have some kind of a cabin eventually so we can get out of our oversized apartment and live more with the bare essentials. We also hope to have either an RV or a small camper we could tow around so we can do some more traveling as our sons grow up. We want to be able to focus more on being outdoors together as a family having adventures and experiences rather than building up a collection of possessions.
