A wooden coffee shop sounds calm, but WAVE customer service came into my day after a café payment issue made a simple coffee stop feel like admin work. I was sitting there with a laptop, trying to enjoy the place, and the charge looked different from what I expected. The staff were nice, but payment questions are not always on them. Small cafés already have enough moving parts, so the service behind the transaction needs to be easy to sort without ruining the whole break.
