After a lovely day off work spent with my bestie Anu on her birthday yesterday. I came home with a sharp pain in my right nipple. I don't usually wear a bra as I work from home. I was out all day yesterday (with bra on) and didn't get home till 8:30pm. I ran upstairs, undressed and removed my bra. My nipple killed! Needless to say I didn't sleep last night. I booked a telephone triage with my doc for this morning. She called me in to see her straightaway.
I sat in the surgery waiting room for around 40 mins before I got seen. I was shaking like a leaf. The thought of being diagnosed with cancer shook me up. My tummy turned and I had to go loo. Finally I got to see her and she examined me and referred me to a specialist. I think she said to Pathology. She told me I should get seen in 2 weeks. If I don't hear from them within a week then I should contact her. I'm gonna try and relax now. I stress at the best of times but this is probably not going to help me.
Anyway, yesterday Anu and I had a manicure. Check out my shellac nails.. hope they last lil Tenerife next week!
Then we had afternoon tea at Druckers. I ate soooo much cake!!
