I have mixed feelings about these claims. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and was treated initially with chemotherapy. There was a dramatic and almost immediate reduction in tumor size and when the tumor was removed after chemo was finished there were no living cancer cells found at that time. On the other hand, the disease has since spread to other parts of her body. At this point I'm certainly open to suggestions for alternative treatments but I doubt we would be willing to try those to the exclusion of whatever her doctor recommends.
