Start with your product...A Variety of quality cannabis is best..Smaller un-apealing buds ya don't want to find in a bag you just paid for...still very good product!
My Cannabis tincture is highly concentrated. This can be diluted later. Im using the maximum amount of Variety Quality Organic Outdoor Cannabis. Trimmed to sugar leaf or better.
You can use anything right down to trim. This method really sucks everything out of whatever material your using.
Better material gets better results.
I want all the benefits from my cannabis material including THC. So...
I Preheat the oven 230 deg F. for Decarboxylation.
This is essentially "Preping your cannabis for activation" Cut this step out for CBD tincture.
Grind it all up nicely. I don't grind too fine. It's still a little chunky. Thats Ok...
Cover the ground Cannabis with tinfoil, stick it in the oven. I Set the timer for 1 hr 230 deg... But I ended up letting it cook a extra 20 mins for a total time 1hr 20.
I layered the trays a little thick so it took more time to decarb. Kinda like a bigger POT roast.😂
Once decarb is complete still green. but will be a bit darker. Not burnt or brown. Should be very dry no moisture, brittle and feel warm to touch.

Once removed from oven. Scoop your weed into glass mason jars. Get all the material into the jar...
I Rince the tray with alcohol to get all the crysal and pour into the big 2 litre mason jar which im using here.
Pour in the high percentage proof alcohol. Enough to cover the material completely, plus a little more.
I normally make my own Alcohol. However this time Im using.
Global %94 ALCOOL. Made in Montreal, Qc.
Get whatever good high % alcohol Is available. Making your own safe high percentage is difficult to pull off correctly. So spend the money if you have too.
Do NOT use it unless you know it Is safe to consume.

USE CONSUMABLE alcohol ONLY!
Everclear, Alcool, Balkan Vodka even Bacardi 151.
Some people prefer the lower percentage for "less tongue burn". I find lower % does not infuse quite as well but is good for diluting the concentrated Green Dragon tincture to desired levels afterwards.
Once everything is combined their are a few methods for best infusion. Its cold outside so how about that! A
"free energy fridge is best! especially in my situation. Winter in Canada😁. Im using the "cold method" Ha!
Now we wait...
Let the material stew...Alcohol will extract and preserve active compounds within your Cannabis.
Shake the Mason jar once a day for the next 2 weeks, Have longer time, even better!.
Every few days "aerate". Kinda like Wine.
Undesirable compounds will evapourate faster leaving more of the good stuff behind...
I flip the mason jar into another let it drip....
Just like the first picture in this post.
Than pour the tincture back in to the cannabis material.
Repeat!
Over time you will notice plant material start to dissolve. Thats good!
Once you feel confident the infusion is complete.
Time to strain, filter and bottle your
Green "Steem" Dragon Tincture.
Now ready to consume responsibly. Of course!

My sister, who has a myriad of health conditions, would probably benefit from this great recipe! She currently supplements her medications with cannabis candies.
After legalizing medicinal marijuana here in Pennsylvania, it is still controlled by the powers that be. It is very expensive to start a cannabis business and still illegal to cultivate the plants without paying the taxes and fees for licensing, so I guess we will just have to make our own tinctures and grow our own weed on the down-low.
After all, money is for spending!
