According to a 2019 World Drug Report, it's estimated that some 200 million people consume cannabis regularly.
More people were arrested in 2016 for cannabis than there were individuals arrested for murder, rape, robbery, and aggravated assault combined.
The drug war is especially devastating for families, by fueling poverty, disease, and stigma.
Cannabis has been shown to have potential to help with healing for opioid and other addictions, even alcoholism, and could play a detrimental role in the healing of millions of people. To help matters, the state should seek to get out of the way and allow the people to peacefully exercise their natural rights to medicate.

I treat BPD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, pain, and nausea with it.
I find an indica strain helps with the anxiety, pain, and insomnia.
A sativa helps break a depression, and gets me moving for the day.
Just about any strain for me is good for nausea.

Richard Crill is @coffeebuds. He is the creator of #weedcash . A great guy. He also created steemit’s freedom tribe. The tech is SCOTbot and Steem Engine, so @aggroed and his team handle the development. It’s still pretty new, and they are fine tuning things and working out bugs, but in general a bright new future for the Steem blockchain. They are launching all kinds of tokenized communities. Weedcash was the first, now there’s Palnet, Leo (if you got an airdrop from PAL you’re going to have one from LEO, it’s for anything about investment, in the same way weedcash is for cannabis content) and a bunch more coming.

We all know that the government/the state is not trying to help it's people, all they want is to do is control our lives, our health and our money.
It's pretty sad to see them spend so much money and time on the cannabis instead of the real problems we deal with, like the crime etc.
In my country, the use of cannabis is illegal. Although everyone knows the mediacinales properties and the positive that can result in the treatment of some diseases, a minimum group of people, but very powerful, are behind the prohibition of it. It seems illogical to me how alcohol or cigarettes are accepted and cannabis is not. For several years my mother has suffered from severe osteoarthritis and the only way to calm her pain is with this miraculous plant. Behind the prohibition, the stigma, there is a group of millionaire white gloves that it is not convenient for them to have legalized cannabis.

yes it does now it paid out but right before like 10 secs it was showing 0.00 so i wasn't sure if anything was going to come? lol i should have screenshot it, next time if i see i will
ah ok, yeah that has happened a couple times where all posts are showing zero for payout, but payouts are never lost, it's just glitch on the front end that should hopefully be worked out now.

What I really don't understand is how they know how much was consumed as it is illegal and therefore consuming this must be done in a clandestine manner in most countries, so how do they come up with this number? I guess this must only be legal marihuana. By the way it is the same with illegal immigrants and other drugs, how do they know how much or how many entered a country if it is done clandestinely?

Cannabis use did not go up (not very much). The same people are smoking pot, they just aren't hiding it.
There certainly are some new smokers who feel content to see howit might help them but, nothing has changed.
