Today I had the pleasure of speaking with numerous people in support of the legalization of Cannabis. Safer Arizona Cannabis Legalization Political Action Committee was accepting signatures and handing out free T-shirts with "Cannabis is safer than Alcohol." During this event I spoke with numerous people such as Deb Staires, Michelle Westenfield, Eric Sedlmayer, Robert Clark, Kathy Inman and more!
Although I did not have much time or equipment I'll share with you an interview with Kathy Inman from Mom Force(A nonprofit organization in Arizona focused on substance education, harm prevention, and whole health solutions).
I had the pleasure of talking with Kathy about cannabis and asked a few questions, ranging from the marijuana industry to the dangerous effects today.
Her response was "When you consider that Colorado has seen less marijuana use in teens today than any other point in history, that says it all. John Hickenlooper is very pleased with the program set forth, he doesn't understand what Jeff Sessions is proposing. As Governor he's seen less teen use and less highway fatalities due to DUI. Colorado has had a spike in fatality's , but that's due to distracted driving. When people are misinformed and given half information people are able to propel the prohibition. It's very important that we collect and present the correct information, and that's what we do here at Mom Force!"

This event spoke volume, and I hope it did to the decision makers as well. Not only were there people advocating weed, but gays rights, clean buses, women's reproductive system rights etc.. I enjoyed all of the speakers at this event, and hope that others will continue to listen. It shows how we CAN come together and stand up for our rights as people.
