Most visitors will probably arrive at Centrall Station, do not visit any coffee bars near there except the one below, they are not worth it, don't say I didn't tell you. But you won't listen anyway, I know you won't, don't argue.

Avoid any coffee shops with pictures of Bob Marley and a Rasta flag in the window, for it is written.

One that most people like is Barneys whose breakfasts are legendary, but it does tend to be full of noisy Americans , Aussies and Brits giving it large, but on the other hand it can be as cool as cool can be, ice cool, dead cool and Joe cool. Hello Barneys!

Young people should go to Grey Area in the Jordaan, a nice buzzy ambience but older stoners could feel uneasy in there with all the pimply little herberts in there. If you want couch lock this is the place.

There are conflicting report of this shop, some folk love it and others only visit once and never go back. I have not been in this one, what I write of it here is what I hear of from others who have.

One that the troops love is De Dampring, it is near the museum of torture and a good restaurant called Cannibale, I just thought I would mention that.........

The merchandise is one of the best there is, their staff and customers are friendly in the main, but they do have bouncers to show trouble makers the errors of their ways, big 'orrible ugly bouncers. They look like a combination of Shrek and Godzilla.

The music is very good for a coffee shop, above average and the punters are nearly away interesting and cool ppl.
But not my mate Gordon, he is a w*nkpuffin of the first order, you must have met him...... I know you have, don't deny it.
