In Canada "legalization" means monopolization by the government. So insider companies get to grow and sell, while mom and pops growers (many who have been doing it for generations) are going to prison for 14 year per offense. Edibles have to be max 2.5mg (yes that's mg, not grams).... in other words there are 400 edibles in a single gram of THC! So real medicine is disappearing and patients with epilepsy and cancer are literally dying, since edibles are the only way certain people are able to take cannabis. Patients (even with prescriptions) are forced to buy in the black market because the legalized market is so terrible. All for profit and control.
