I can't think of anything more vile than the gov. going after cannabis activists, especially when they're also Vets recovering from PTSD and other war-related psychological conditions. That shit is inexcusable!

The fact that many Americans who served in the armed forces have problems in peaceful life, well, they experienced them before service. The average composition is mainly formed from losers. In a developed economic system, normal people have no problem finding a place in it.
For those veterans who really need help - suffered a severe wound, etc. - the American state provides very strong support. Although there are undoubtedly problems, they are being fought and solved.
