There is alot of talk on cannabis and drugs in general lately. Most people seem to have an opinion on the subject, with many claiming the illegality of cannabis is proof its wrong. Others fear addiction in their country. The problem is, no matter your opinion, the only person you should have a say on using drugs is yourself.
How much of your body is yours if others can tell you what you can/can't put into it? If fear of "what if" is justification to restrict grown adults who've done nothing to prove they can't be trusted, where does it end?
When people rely on government to determine, via legality, what is wrong or right, we have a problem. Slavery was legal, helping free slaves was illegal. Helping report Jewish people was legal, hiding them was illegal. The state can't be trusted to be the test for moral righteousness.
Your body is yours to use how you see fit as long as you harm no other people or their property. This doesn't change when a majority of other people come together. Mob rule is not a basis to tell others what they can ingest or experiment. For them to have an opinion, it means they own a portion of you. They have stake in the game that is you.
An individual can only be judged off their own actions, not the possible actions they COULD make or the actions other people have taken. If there is no victim, there is no crime being committed, no matter what some opinion on paper written by some power tripper dictates.
When you encounter someone doing something you don't agree with but isn't harming you or your property, maybe take a moment and practice minding your own fucking business. If you simply can't do that, maybe gather the testicular fortitude to go try to deal with telling someone else how they should live vs calling the law to do the bullying for you. If you're too chicken shit to do something yourself, maybe go back to working on minding your own business.

not currently, we live off the grid in a dome house on a little ranch in the jungle. We hope to take the bus around once finished to little cool spots here in Mexico. Thanks for the suggestion, I will do that next time!
