This is the canopy in my yard. I was suppose to remove the top before the winter. This is the second year I didn't remove it. Now the winter elements has shred it. A few days of heavy winds, plus the snow and ice has ruined it. Now I have to but a replacement which is about $100 dollars. A lesson to be learned.

Maybe you thought it didn't matter so that in the first year you let it not be removed until the second year, and it turned out this time made you have to suffer a big loss for neglecting to delete it in the first year, Hopefully it can be an important lesson for you, I am concerned ..
