Pinta came into my hands together with her little sister, Skyler, when she was as small as a mouse. Among her siblings she stood out because of her white, tousled fur, as they were all yellow and much shorter haired; she was "the different one".
When she first came to our home, she was very shy and rarely approached us. She always stood out for being the most striking, the most colorful, the plumpest and biggest; her coat is a brilliant white color, already stunning, but the most incredible thing about her is the huge heart-shaped spot on her belly.
From the first time I held her I knew she was going to be a bit of a handful, as she rolled up her sleeves from me and glared at me with angry eyes; she ripped at my chest and left extremely offended. But I didn't give up or let her be labeled a "dangerous animal", I insisted and attached her to me with the same affection as I did her sister. I petted and cuddled her; until, after days of mutual suffering, she surrendered to my affection and became a little more docile exclusively to me.
Nowadays, if she approaches on her own in search of affection, it is an act to be surprised about; when it happens, we smile and take advantage of the only moment when she comes out of her shell.
When we tried to take care of them only indoors, Pinta always escaped and looked for a way to go out into the garden. It was because of her insistence that now she and her siblings live half and half; one time outdoors, where they play, hunt and have fun under the respective precautions, and another where they are inside the house to rest and get some fresh air.
Pinta has always been characterized as the "glutton" of the herd, since she eats like no other; whatever is put in her mouth she swallows without much consideration. As a result, she is more plump than the others.
Anyone who sees her for the first time would think she is a threatening and dangerous animal, but behind her fierce eyes hides a small, shy and greedy creature with a big heart.
Pinta has an inseparable friendship with her sister Skyler, even though the two are complete opposites: Skyler is outgoing, syphrine and very social, while Pinta is more introverted, not so friendly with strangers and much more closed. One way or another, they complement each other and make a perfectly dynamic team.
In addition, Pinta is also very skilled and adventurous; she has been seen energetically hunting birds, and is rarely seen lying down for long (unlike her sister Skyler, who is quite lazy). She loves the rain and the cold; after it rains, she lies down in the damp earth to feel the coolness, so she ends up stained from head to toe with mud.
Pinta is a wonderful kitten. She stands out for her magnificent beauty, luminous fur and powerful green eyes, but she also surprises with her unique and unrepeatable personality.
Something curious about her is that, even though she is shy and averse to humans, whenever she sees a camera her outgoing personality emerges and she poses like a model.
We all love her dearly.
