All children are different

in #caturday2 days ago (edited)

Today I found these old pictures of our known friend Professor Shisho and was thinking of the following:

All children are different and cannot be expected to be the same. All my life I myself have suffered from the expectations of everyone - parents, relatives, friends and acquaintances to be like my brother, so I can not do the same now with our cats.

But I would say that of our four cats, this cat here was constantly busy doing the most inexplicable, stupid and destructive things.

Like this here - gnawing and trying to break the trunk of this young walnut tree.

He is a loving kitten, or at least pretends to be. But every time he came rubbing at my legs, I was alert because I never know what's in his head and what he's really thinking.

And it's not just that. Ever since he was a little kitten, I have been afraid that sometimes he might kill one of his siblings because he was twice their size and was very aggressive and beats them with great malice. I was afraid that one day he would just sit on one of them and kill them.

Well, I guess that's the risk of raising cats - almost always, sometimes to a lesser extent, and other times to a greater extent, you see how you raise the enemy in your own house. And well, what changed the behavior of this cat... you already know that 😃

Happy Caturday to you all!

Soul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.

Very nice! 😍 This is such a lovely feature on one of your children. Yes, they are all so different and each has an interesting personality. I wish my furbabies also have a garden of their own and would be safe from other not too friendly humans. Happy new year! 🎉
