This is Thisbe, named after the mythological Boeotian nymph. Thisbe first appears in Ovid's narrative poem, _Metamorphoses. _Later, she appears in Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream, said to have inspired the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. But I'll write more about my cat's namesake another time. Today, I draw your attention to her favourite sleeping position - the "Pancake."

It's pretty hot here in South Africa, so I don't resent her for trying to stretch out and cool off! But her stance has me in hysterics!
