I am a certified tomato lover. As they were telling me, back when I was a toddler and was confined into my crib, in order to give me something to do, my parents would give me tomatoes. And would be happily satisfied eating my fresh, raw tomatoes!
I find that story entertaining. They say that if I were to pick between apple and tomato, I would definitely pick the latter. Hahaha!
So, basically from early age, I eat raw tomatoes, freshly picked from the garden and washed. And because I love tomatoes, we grow them!
I get excited whenever I see flowers, smiling at me. I can imagine taking a bite with its crunchy, semi-ripe fruit!
We put tomatoes in salads, in omelettes, in fish stew, sauteed vegetables, and even use it as a side dish to fried or grilled fish. Hardly a day passes by without us using tomatoes.
This is my son, excited to pick the mature tomatoes from our garden. (And because he has a special participation in my post, I have to tag @ninahaskin. 😂)

I actually did nothing. I gave up on eating it. Many people are allergic to tomatoes. I had the same with oranges, etc. After years I tried again and it was okay. I am not eating them daily but can eat them now. 💕
Oh! That's great. My mom is allergic to chicken too, but after some time, she tried again and she is OK. But she avoids eating it often. Healthwise, it's good.
