The caves for many uses, but in general to hide, protect and bury people. We have here the presentation of this particular cave, a wonder of nature.
REED FLUTE CAVE: A CAVE OF ANOTHER PLANET IN CHINA
Few landscapes impress as much as this destination of the Guanxi region in China. The incredible rock formation found inside the caves of Reed Flute Cave is undoubtedly among the most spectacular and amazing destinations in the world.
The Reed Flute caves are an impressive system of caves more than 240 meters long that are located in Guilin, in the Guanxi region, in China, and represent a wonderful mixture of surrealism and psychedelia. This limestone formation, despite having more than 1,200 years of life, was rediscovered in 1940 and is currently one of the tourist attractions that attracts the most tourists during the year. The caves stand out for their beautiful stalactites, stalagmites and columns that were formed by the erosion of the water that when illuminated create colors and contrasts that increase the spectacular nature of the place.
Inside the cave we can find many inscriptions that go back to ancient times like the Tang Dynasty.
During the 240 meters long this cave has, you can see interesting rock formations that resemble all kinds of strange things. Many of the formations have acquired recognizable forms of mythological creatures or natural images. There are formations that resemble vegetables and, some, the Statue of Liberty.
