I am a African America male, and a fan of Alex Jones. I’m was also a big fan of Facebook and You Tube, until the weekend I’d August 10, 2018, when Facebook, You Tube and a few other social media platforms, decided to remove the content of Alex Jones from there sites. This is a from of censorship that I wouldexpect to see in a dictatorship, or a socialist country, but not in America. Not in a country that is rule by the constitution, and has the freedom of speech as it first right of the people.
The reason the social media sites claim that Alex Jones was “censored” was due to “hate speech”. But I have been listening to The Alex Jones show for several years, and have found very little that I would call hate speech. And the thing is hate speech should be protected speech under the constitution.
For example, in the pre revolutionary war days (1765), the Sons Of Liberty, would do and say things that could be seen as hate speech against the British. They were responsible for the Boston Tea Party, throwing British tea in to Boston Harbor, with could be seen as an act of terrorism. But it not seen as hate speech or terrorism. My point is that what is hate speech and what is terrorism is different person to person. It is based on a persons point of view. From the point of view of the British is was hate speech and terrorism, from the point of view of the Sons of Liberty it was just protesting.
This situation reminds me of the movie “Good Morning Vietnam”, where the radio DJ was only allowed to report news that was officially approved to be news. In essence, censorship.
I guess the news that Alex Jones was report in was not approved by the mainstream media elite, or the “deep state” intelligence agencies. Or maybe billionaire George Soros flexed his muscle to force social media to remove evidence and information the Alex Jones had that spent years documenting. As said be George Orwell he who controls the past, controls the future. Now the the documents of Alex Jones has been “purged” from the collective social media memory. The deep state is free to influence future events with out the burden of the historical record. Now the the only view point of history will be the one controledmbe the media elite and deep state.
