Glenn Greenwald just resigned from The Intercept, the news outlet he co-founded in 2013 with Jeremy Scahill and Laura Poitras, as well as from its parent company First Look Media. The final, precipitating cause was that The Intercept’s editors, in violation of their contractual right of editorial freedom, censored an article he wrote this week, refusing to publish it unless he remove all sections critical of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, the candidate vehemently supported by all New-York-based Intercept editors involved in this effort at suppression.

What's the deal? Are we to assume that everyone who once stood for something noble will eventually sell out of the sake of money, status and influence? Started in the name of freedom of the press, the Intercept has obviously drifted into following consensus.

We often resort to the argument that there are "smart" people who think like we do, and dumb ones, who don't. But it's not that they're stupid... (well, obviously SOME people are)... but rather that too many choose expediency over integrity.

How do you suppose the Nazi state attracted only the best minds and most talented people, who when faced with a significant moral choice chose self-interest... and social acceptance?

This is where we are going folks, with most doctors standing on the side of "bought" science, because it preserves their respectability and status - at least among those who set policy in our newsrooms, universities and in government.

The media silence around so many issues, but recently around the jaw-dropping contents of Hunter Biden's laptop... which no one in the Biden Camp has even stepped forward to deny, suggests that REALITY is whatever we are TOLD it is.

How do we survive as free people, under those conditions? Guess what? We don't! I'm not ok with that. Are you?
