Como muchos amantes de la cerveza artesana, entre los que me incluyo, estos chicos empezaron como homebrewers allá por el 2020, es decir, a hacer su propia cerveza en casa. Empiezas com un kit básico y poco a poco vas invirtiendo y comprando material para mejorar tus creaciones. Es ahí cuando te das cuenta de la complejidad de elaborar cerveza. Muchos acaban llevando su pasión a negocio en un mundo, el de la cerveza artesana, realmente complicado. Y digo complicado porque hoy en día montar un negocio es arduo y arriesgado. Un salto de fe. Pero más aun cuando en España la cuota de mercado en cerveza artesana es del 3%. Muy lejos del 20% del Reino Unido o el 30% de Estados Unidos. Somos un país con cultura vinícola y la inmensa mayoría no ha oído hablar de estilos más allá de las Lager que se consumen mayoritariamente. Además las grandes marcas industriales absorben a algunas de las marcas artesanas emergentes complicando todavía más su expansión. Poco a poco se va conociendo más este mundillo de la cerveza artesana y cada vez más encontramos nuevas marcas, nuevos bares y nuevas tiendas especializadas. Brindo por todos ellos.
Pero centrémonos en la la cervecera. Me encanta el ideal de 100% artesana e independiente de Birra2 y su compromiso con el medio ambiente utilizando solo productos naturales y reutilizando todos sus desechos. Para mí un punto importante.
Respecto a las cerveza, tuve la suerte de que llegará a mis manos un Pack y rápidamente me puse a degustarlas. Todas sus cervezas tienen un denominador en común, al menos en mi opinión. Cerveza clásica lejos de cualquier moda y artificio. Hoy en día los sabores a frutas y el dulce o "Pastry" lo inunda todo en el mundo de la cerveza. Es por ello que cuando pruebas cerveza y nada más que cerveza, yo al menos lo agradezco.

Cerveza limpia y cristalina. Qué difícil es sorprender con una Lager y que fácil es estropearla. Para mí uno de los procesos más complejos de elaboración en el mundo de la cerveza y que estos chicos han interpretado con maestría. Se nota de manera muy agradable el amargor que aporta el lúpulo. Realmente fácil de beber, con matices a cereal y pan.

Mucha más sabrosa y con más cuerpo que la anterior. Profundo sabor a malta y cereal con u final seco adictivo. Precioso color dorado. Quizá un pelín subida de carbonatación pero realmente sabrosa. Muy buena cerveza.

Lúpulo: Citra, Simcoe y Amarillo

IPA clásica. Actualmente casi no se hacen cervezas así, como ya he dicho antes, el sabor afrutado de las IPA de corte moderno lo inunda todo. Yo personalmente prefiero lo clásico. Perfecta interpretación del estilo American IPA. Mucho sabor a lúpulo con toques cítricos y resinosos. Amargor moderado pero persistente.
En mi opinión la mejor de las tres.

Like many craft beer lovers, including myself, these guys started as homebrewers back in 2020, that is, making their own beer at home. Little by little, this world of craft beer is becoming more known and more and more we are finding new brands, new bars and new specialized stores. Here's to all of them.
But let's focus on the brewery. I love Birra2's 100% artisanal and independent ideal and its commitment to the environment using only natural products and reusing all its waste. For me an important point.
Regarding the beers, I was lucky that a Pack came into my hands and I quickly began to taste them. All their beers have a common denominator, at least in my opinion. Classic beer far from any fashion and artifice. Nowadays, fruit flavors and sweet or "Pastry" pervade everything in the world of beer. That's why when you try beer and nothing but beer, I at least appreciate it.

Clean and crystalline beer. How difficult it is to surprise with a Lager and how easy it is to ruin it. For me one of the most complex brewing processes in the world of beer and one that these guys have interpreted with mastery. The bitterness provided by the hops is very pleasantly noticeable. Really easy to drink, with nuances of cereal and bread.

Much tastier and with more body than the previous one. Deep malt and cereal flavor with an addictive dry finish. Beautiful golden color. Maybe a little higher in carbonation but really tasty. Very good beer.

Classic IPA. Nowadays, almost no beers like this are made, as I have said before, the fruity flavor of modern IPAs floods everything. I personally prefer classic. Perfect interpretation of the American IPA style. Lots of hop flavor with citrus and resinous touches. Moderate but persistent bitterness.
In my opinion the best of the three.
