Hoy os muestro un vino que no había probado hasta ahora, pero he de reconocer que tenía ganas de hacerlo por la fama y premios coleccionados que le precede. Se trata del reserva de Castillo de Peñaranda 2016 que recientemente recibió el galardón del Bacchus de Oro 2023 en su categoría. Quizá el premio más prestigioso en lo que a vinos se refiere y que suele ser sinónimo de buena compra y excelente vino. Tras probarlo, he de reconocer que me ha sorprendido gratamente. Sin ser su precio elevado, unos 13 euros, es una magnífica opción para adquirir.

Su color es de un rojo picota intenso, con ribetes granates fruto de la amplia maduración del vino.
En nariz, presente un aire licoroso en el que destacan unos balsámicos suaves y la fruta roja madura.
En boca es donde muestra su poderío, impactante, muy carnoso y con un final elegante y prolongado que dura en el tiempo.
Excelente vino en su conjunto. Muy equilibrado.
Today I show you a wine that I had not tried until now, but I have to admit that I wanted to do it because of the fame and collected awards that precede it. This is the 2016 Castillo de Peñaranda reserve that recently received the 2023 Gold Bacchus award in its category. Perhaps the most prestigious award when it comes to wines and which is usually synonymous with a good purchase and excellent wine. After trying it, I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised. Without its high price, about 13 euros, it is a magnificent option to purchase.

Its color is an intense cherry red, with garnet edges resulting from the extensive maturation of the wine.
On the nose, it presents a liquorish air in which soft balsamic notes and ripe red fruit stand out.
The palate is where it shows its power, impressive, very meaty and with an elegant and prolonged finish that lasts over time.
Excellent wine as a whole. Very balanced.
