Other Half quizá sea una de las cerveceras artesanas americanas que más presencia tenga en Europa. Periódicamente vemos su productos en tiendas y bares. Es también una de las más conocidas en todo el mundo. Su calidad es increíble e incuestionable. El problema, como todo lo que viene de Estados Unidos, es el precio. Realmente elevado, pudiendo adquirirlas en su país de origen por menos de la mitad. Están realmente deliciosas, pero no se si el precio merece la pena. En Reino Unido y Europa también se hacen cervezas así por la mitad de precio.

La cerveza es espectacular, tiene esa densidad especial con un brutal sabor a fruta, pero el protagonista es el lúpulo. El amargor por encima de los sabores a cítricos y fruta de hueso madura. Si es así, a mí no me importan los toques frutales. Su aroma es penetrante e incisivo y es el preludio del espectáculo que viene después.
Precioso color anaranjado con una espuma compacta y persistente. El alcohol pasa totalmente desapercibido.
Un lujo de cerveza, cara, pero exquisita.

The beer is spectacular, it has that special density with a brutal fruit flavor, but the protagonist is the hops. The bitterness above the flavors of citrus and ripe stone fruit. If so, I don't mind the fruity touches. Its aroma is penetrating and incisive and is the prelude to the show that comes later.
Beautiful orange color with a compact and persistent foam. Alcohol goes completely unnoticed.
A luxury of beer, expensive, but exquisite.

Con los productos importados está sienpre el problema del precio, creo que uno paga más por la curiosidad de experimentar que por buscar calidad. No en todos los casos claro, pero tienes mucha razón al apuntar que calidad por aquí no falta.
