Hope you don't mind I reply in English. I read Spanish rather well (particularly yours, which is very clear), but am embarrassed to try to write in the language. This is a very interesting, well-put together blog. It seems to me the Church prohibition carried over into the modern age, as there is still a bit of stigma attached to tattoos among culturally traditional people.

Very thanks. I'm glad you like my blog. I'll try to reply in English. Certainly there are still a lot prejudices in the Church nowadays but they can't kill you for have a tattoo, at least that i think. I mean the Church is not as powerful as it used to be.
De acuerdo! I had a very Catholic mother, and her prejudice against tattoos is strong in my memory. Pienso en ella.
En mi caso, mi madre no es así, pero igual hay que respetar sus decisiones. Ya después que uno vive solo y forma su familia, eres libre en tomar esas decisiones.
Si. Tengo respecto por las tradiciones de mi madre, pero he formado algunas muy distintas.
