Unos de los índices mas representativo en la historia de las inversiones , por no decir que es el mas importante es el SP500 o el "Standard & Poor's 500".Este en mi opinión es el índice mas importante de Estados unidos , ya que alberga las acciones de las 500 empresas que que poseen las acciones que cotizan mas alta en la bolsa de estados unidos , obteniéndose la mayoría de as índices NASDAQ y NYSE .La regulación de este índice las lleva a cabo la entidad S&P DOW JONES , esta entidad se encarga tanto de sus componentes como de su ponderación.
