Hola amigos de Hive, como podrán apreciar, me encuentro en mi habitual locación de trabajo. En el instituto de salud del Clínico de 26, precisamente en el área de radioterapia, aquí se encuentra a mi disposición, el trabajo con equipos de rango alto, como lo es el Acelerador Lineal. Todo esto, debido a la rotación por la cual los internos de Biofísica Médica nos vemos sometidos, en nuestro segundo año de carrera. Siendo lo peculiar en esta ocasión, que trabaje solo sin ayuda del profesor guía. Con un horario estimado de alrededor de 15 minutos por paciente, lo cual nos da una profundización en los conceptos de trabajo directo con el paciente.

Cabe recalcar, que la radioterapia, es el tratamiento a base de altas dosis de radiación. Donde puede intervenir uno de los equipos más precisos del mundo, me refiero al Acelerador Lineal, como antes mencionaba. Instrumento encargado de administrar radioterapia, mediante un haz externo, suministrando rayos X de alta potencia. Con la función de tratar las afecciones propias del cáncer. Por lo que, nuestro acelerador lineal, cumple la tarea a un 100% de efectividad, con aquellos pacientes de detención de células cancerosas en etapas tempranas. Lo cual propicia que el personal de oncología, este listo para proveer un servicio de calidad y eficiencia a la población. Permitiendo que estudiantes como yo, se empapen de una vastedad de experiencias en el manejo de estás máquinas. Las cuales dan salud, alegría y vida, a un pueblo que merece más.

Hello Hive friends, as you may appreciate, I am at my usual work location. In the health institute of the Clinic of 26, precisely in the area of radiotherapy, here is at my disposal, working with high range equipment, as is the Linear Accelerator. All this, due to the rotation by which the interns of Medical Biophysics we are subjected, in our second year of career. Being the peculiarity on this occasion, that I work alone without the help of the guiding professor. With an estimated schedule of about 15 minutes per patient, which gives us a deepening in the concepts of direct work with the patient.

It should be noted that radiotherapy is the treatment based on high doses of radiation. Where one of the most precise equipment in the world can intervene, I am referring to the Linear Accelerator, as I mentioned before. It is an instrument in charge of administering radiotherapy, by means of an external beam, supplying high power X-rays. With the function of treating cancer conditions. Therefore, our linear accelerator, fulfills the task at 100% effectiveness, with those patients with cancerous cell arrest in early stages. This allows the oncology staff to be ready to provide a quality and efficient service to the population. Allowing students like me to soak in a vast array of experiences in the handling of these machines. Which give health, joy and life to a people who deserve more.
