Hoy quiero mostrarles uno de mis dibujos, hecho a mano, al cual llamo: Helios y Selene, lo hice en una hoja de papel vegetal de 100 x 70 cm y está hecho con lapiz y creyones. Aunque se que no es el dibujo mas realista que puedan ver (en cuanto a los rasgos humanos) es uno de mis dibujos favoritos, pues siento que cuando lo hice fue mucho mejor que cualquier otro dibujo que haya hecho antes.
bueno... ¿Pero que hay con el nombre del dibujo?
Como pueden ver, en el dibujo se ve una mujer sentada sobre un luna y un hombre sentado sobre un sol, pues bien, este dibujo es mi interpretación de los antiguos dioses griegos de la Luna y el Sol, cuyos nombres eran justamente Selene y Helios respectivamente. En el mito de Helios y Selene, ellos estaban destinados a perseguirse por el cielo sin poder alcanzarse, por lo que cuando Helios bajaba al horizonte, Selene subía por el otro lado. Por esta razón cada uno se encuentra en lados opuestos del dibujo, mirandose pero sin poder alcanzarse.

Today I want to show you one of my handmade drawings, which i call: Helios and Selene, I made it on a sheet of paper of 100 x 70 centimeters and it's made with pencil and crayons. Although I know that it is not the most realistic drawing that you can see (in terms of human features) it is one of my favorite drawings, because I felt that when I did it, it was better than any other drawing I had done before.
Well ... But what about the name of the drawing?
As you can see, in the drawing you can see a woman sitting on a moon and a man sitting on a sun, well, this drawing is my interpretation of the ancient Greek gods of the Moon and the Sun, whose names were Selene and Helios respectively. In the myth of Helios and Selene, they were destined to chase each other across the sky without being able to reach themselves, so when Helios came down to the horizon, Selene climbed the other side. For this reason they are on opposite sides of the drawing, looking at each other but not being able to reach each other.
