Good afternoon dear friends and dear friends of Hive. Motivated by the date of the celebration of the month of May, in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, La Cruz de Mayo is celebrated in all states, a festival that begins on May 3, where devotees dress the crosses with ornaments. natural and placed on altars, where it is worshiped, with recitations, songs, dances, games, etc. I wanted to share a few tenths with the structure of the European spinel, an adopted tradition where they are interpreted in a recited way and also in a sung way, using their beautiful variants according to the population. These tenths have the structure of five stanzas: a quatrain and four forced tenths of a foot, where each foot or end of the tenth is adjusted to the initial quatrain where its verses are octosyllable with ABBA rhyme and the tenths with 10 octosyllable verses or words, with rhyme ABBAACCDDC. In the East of the Country these tenths are sung in the musical forms: Galerón and Gaitas Margariteñas especially, in the west the country: Décimas de Canturías, in the Barlovento area are recited and thus we find this literary form in other musical forms, not only to sing to the Cross, but to sing to it all year round, for example the Zuliana Bagpipes, they have these structures.
These tenths dedicated to the May Cross, are completely my own, as are the photos, except for some that I place their respective credits.

De las risas y los llantos
galerones todo el día
que la gente aplaudiría
cuando ¡dijo bien! mi canto

Quiero cantar con mi hermano
como en los pueblos, solían
unas salves y Fulias
con una rosa en la mano
Cruz de Mayo la sembramos
entre décimas y cantos
y por eso quiero tanto
los recuerdos imborrables
y la luz inigualable
de las risas y los llantos

Con el cuatro y mandolina
entonamos punto y llanto
malagueñas entre cantos
desde oriente se encamina
escuchamos voces finas
de Chelías y María
unas jotas y fulías
en presencia de la cruz
con el alma de Jesús
galerones todo el día
III
La Bandola de los llanos
le rinde culto a la cruz
alumbrando con su luz
a toditos los paisanos
voces graves y sopranos
y esa bellas canturías
entre tonos y armonía
honran al santo madero
y cantores con esmero
que la gente aplaudiría

Con el cinco bien templado
el pandero y el requinto
le hago caso a mis instintos
en cantar muy afinado
esos tonos arraigados
que nos cubre con su manto
y por eso, mientras tanto
salves, décimas y tonos
a la cruz que no abandono
