From what I understand, Golos is a couple versions behind in terms of compatibility with Steem. It would be difficult (though not impossible) to get Golos included until they catch up to at least HF18.

notice that because some of Golos are signing up to Steemit because liking the HF19 effect here but able to see the percentage of voting power on the upvotes on golos.
