I'm trying to post to it from outside chainbb using the tag system so it reaches the forum via tags and using the first tag user-help in my post, but the post doesn't show in the forum? Maybe, it doesn't work that way ?

The "Content Exclusivity" setting needs to be off for posts outside of chainBB to show in the forum.

Hey @jesta, my last three posts tagged steemdev haven't shown up in the steemdev forum. They're not hidden either.
For posts from non-chainBB interfaces - the #steemdev tag would have to be the first tag to show up in the /f/steemdev forums.
