Thanks for all your comments and interest as I've retold this story - now I need to find something new to write about and keep you all interested ;-)
Mate, that is one epic journey. How heavy was your backpack? I would struggle doing that many miles carrying nothing. Haha
Cheers @strongerbeings! The backpack started off at about 26kg as I recall but it wasn't long before I realised it would be worth cutting out a few things so I wittled it down to 18kgs.
Still very sizable mate. U would have definitely built up some strength!!
Yeah - and I was a lot lighter by the end too. Anyone who wants to shed a few kilos should just go walking for a month or two. I was already pretty lean at the start but by the end I was super light and fast, it was great!
You sir are a machine!
Aww you say the nicest things lol
Have not come across your page before but wow man, very impressive and inspiring challenge. Very well documented as well, love how you have the "Feeling - xxx" in your documentation!
Look forward to your future adventures, planning on doing any other challenge in the future?
Otherwise, if you're into travelling, vlogs, self-development etc feel free to check out my channel, in any case keep up the good work and I'll see you around!
Cheers @williamwest. Recently I've been more into cycling, I have a couple of big rides I may blog about but no other grand adventures planned for the now. Checked out your latest post - impressive stuff mate!
Alright, sounds good, I have not done any serious cycling before but I'm inspired by your posts, another thing on the bucketlist haha, also seems like such an incredible way to discover like in your place an entire country.
Thanks man, I'll stay tuned for your future adventures ;)
Actually while on this trek I met a guy who spent a lot of time cycling around Thailand, said it was a fantastic place for cycling!
Can imagine, just need to get away from the crazy traffic roads and you're probably all good!
