The Challenge
My so very talented freewriter friend @byn nominated me for this challenge which was initiated by @traciyork. Thank you for starting it!
This is how this challenge works.
I will tell you 11 facts about my life. But one is an alternative truth which some people call a lie! How dare they!! 🤪
You guess which one of all my so believable facts is not true and post the # in the comments. The first one who guessed it right will get 1 SBD after this post pays out.
And, if you want, I highly encourage you to make your own 11 facts post. Tag me if you do so I can see if you are any good at lying.
The Facts - Well, Almost All of Them Are.
I am one of five children.
I grew up without a car and without a TV.
I rode my bicycle from San Diego, California to Eugene, Oregon and back again.
I studied 4 languages.
I was married many times.
I had lots of pets when I grew up.
My English teacher told me that I will never speak English.
I have witnessed birth and death.
I have never seen the Grand Canyon.
I have shot a gun.
I love traveling by train.

I'm not sure the answer, but I want to guess that you have stated that you were married many times. Something tells me that you were not. Perhaps I'm wrong and have completely misguessed!

Are you going to write one?
I will try to write one this weekend. I am up and down with the Botox fallout, but I like the challenge!
So, the botox gave you the latest bout of migraines? That is crazy!!
I joined a migraine support group a couple of years ago which I haven't been active in. I've started posting in there and getting responses from other people regarding their Botox experiences. From what I'm reading common side effects are swelling of the eyelids and the exhaustion. I'm hoping that this will phase out and eventually I will start feeling the positive effects. I can only cross my fingers and hope that I'm one of the ones that Botox injections will work as a preventative. From what I'm gathering from both the neurologist and for the people who are receiving injections, it is usually the second or third injection set (6-9 months down the line!) before they start seeing real results. The last night, I viewed a couple of posts about people that once it gets close to the end of the 3 months they will start getting their migraines back intensely... I am crossing my fingers and praying that that is not me!

I think that's the one lie. Was it there were pets nearby, homeless animals who chilled with you or at your place? It's teh one that seems plausible to me. I'm going to do this too lol I'll tag you, gonna go write now hehehe

This is where semantics come into play, right? lol... I mean, I've never been to the Grand Canyon, yet, I've seen it--pics, etc... ;)
For the first time in my life, every answer feels very wrong :D
But. I am going with #5 because I believe marriages are not for the weak and not many of us can hack being married many times! Lol.

After careful reading of the post and the comments, I noticed that no one said #2 or #4 so far, so even though I was instantly drawn to number 5, I'll go with number 4 because 2 I think it seems a very obvious lie so probably it's true!
