India is a land of diverse communities castes ,races ,Languages and cultures. Under the british rule there was an underlying bond of unity in the midst of diversity. But since the independence the disruptive forces are threatening the country s unity .Linguistic jealousy, economic and political rivalries , and a spirit of regionalism have sprung up.Eruptions of violence and seething tension over regional issues are daily occurrences . young minds should be imbued with a spirit of patriotism . Attempts should be made to remove all sorts of discrepancies from the country . the problem of language is to be solved carefully .India must achieve a national unity for her survival and progress
