on my latest visit to DC (one of my favorite cities in the US) I stopped by the Renwick -- its a crafts gallery, as in it focuses on the crafts of making art like the best sculpting, basketmaking, ceramics, glass, jewelry, instead of paintings and digital art. Its a refreshing and wondrous experience because you can see just how much went into every piece. this piece is a combination of metal and programmed led arrays.
