New teammate welcomed by Chelsea players

Jorginho has been given a warm welcome to Chelsea by his Brazilian team-mates as he settles into life in England following his £57million move from Napoli.

Chelsea shared a picture on Instagram of the midfielder posing with David Luiz, Emerson Palmieri and Lucas Piazon on Tuesday. Jorginho is an Italy international but lived in Brazil until he was 15, when he moved to Italy.
The 26-year-old followed manager Maurizio Sarri from Napoli to west London, despite strong interest from Premier League champions Manchester City.
Together in Serie A last season, Sarri and Jorginho helped Napoli to a second place finish and will look to combine again in order to guide Chelsea back into the top four and the Champions League places.
Upon being announced as a Chelsea player, Jorginho said: 'I am absolutely ecstatic to be here at Chelsea. It is not easy to become part of such a big team so I am very, very happy.
'I am excited to play in such an intense league, for a team that gives everything to play and win.'
The Italy international will wear No 5 at Chelsea and fans will have their first chance to see him in action when they play Perth Glory in a friendly in Australia on July 23.
Chelsea will also meet Inter Milan in Nice on July 28 and London rivals Arsenal on August 1.
Sarri's first competitive match is against Manchester City in the Community Shield at Wembley on Sunday, August 5.
They then face Lyon in a friendly on August 7 before the Premier League campaign begins with a trip to Huddersfield on August 11.FB_IMG_1531897195219.jpg
