Difference between nuclear reaction And chemical reaction

in #chemistry7 years ago

In a nuclear reaction the number of nucleons of the target nuclide change while in Chemical reaction the nucleus are Unaffected as only the electrons are Rearrangement.

Transformation and transmutation of an atom Occurs during a nuclear reaction but not in a Chemical reaction.

Loss of mass occurs during nuclear reaction but not in a chemical reaction.

A nuclear reaction does not depend upon External factors (temperature, pressure etc.) While in the chemical reaction these external Factors are depended.

In a nuclear reaction the highly energy is Released while in a chemical reaction is not Released very highly.

The emission of alpha or beta particles take Place but these emission does not occur in a Chemical reaction.
