Chicago last week, it's been a whirlwind of travel, New York the week before. In Chicago specifically, everyone I talked to of any color, background, nationality etc were pleasant well spoken, friendly people. What is happening outside of the downtown area with murders and shootings is not fair to the hard working people who cannot move from the impoverished neighborhoods of Chicago. It is really sad shooting statictics are over 3k from January 1 2016. Just clearly unfair to the hardworking people of the great city.
The cab driver told me, the majority of the violence is happening blocks away from the Obama's home.
We, as a Nation, need to step in and fix this issue by clearing the streets of thugs as quickly as possible.
