11 percent children suffering from cyber crime in the World.

In the capital Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, a program was organized in the name of 'Secure Internet Festival for Children's Adolescents'. More than 10,000 students, teachers and guardians of more than 100 schools of the country participated in this festival organized by Unicef and social media. The policy-makers, industry leaders and leaders were also present. Syrian Criminal Awareness Foundation convener Kazi Mustafiz said in a seminar at the conference room of Novoietieter.

According to a recent study conducted by the organization, the seminar said 11 percent of the victims of cyber crime were under 18, 74 percent were aged between 18 and 30 years, and 13 percent were 31 to 45 years old. The rest of the victims are over 46 years of age. These crimes include online propaganda (cyberbullying), ID hacking, online threats, ATM card hacking, mobile banking account hacking, cheating in the name of online sale of products.

According to the audience, in the event that large users of Internet users in Bangladesh are below 18 years of age. Every day more than 1, 75 thousand children are using online for the first time. The survey form was reached to more than 9 million children. But it takes 11 to 821 children who are 13 to 18 years old.

Speakers at the program said that despite the huge presence of children online, there was little work to keep them safe from the dangers of digital world and to increase access to safe online content. So UNICEF and Facebook have started a year-long awareness program.

According to a recent report by UNICEF Bangladesh Representative, Edward Begowdar said there is a lack of adequate knowledge about proper use of the Internet among children. Because of this, the abuse of their personal information, pushing them into harmful content, increasing the persecution of online and increasing the risk of damages. The presence of mobile devices has increased the chance of accessing the child online without supervision of the elderly. Which also increased many dangers at the same time.

Ritesh Mehta, chief of Facebook and India's South Asia program, said that the safety of children online is very important for children, guardians and teachers at the present time. Through this joint effort, we want to continue dialogue with children on security and technology. How to teach them to ensure their safety in the crowded places, playgrounds and schools, in the same way they will be taught to stay safe online.
