HEALTHY FOOD -HELP KIDS TO GAIN WEIGHT

Most of the mothers are worried about the weight of their young ones.Some kids are so lean that it seems like they are malnourished. You as a mother can help your child to gain weight in a healthy manner.

Here is the list of foods that can be included in child's diet to gain weight.

EGGS: Eggs are rich in protein and help the child to have healthy weight gain.Eggs are also rich source of B12 Vitamin A which are essential for the normal growth and development of a child. An egg can be added to child's diet in variety of forms like poached egg, half fry,french toast,sandwich etc.

POTATOES: Potatoes are rich source of carbohydrates which is an important component of food if you want to gain weight.Potatoes contain amino acids like arginine and glutamine, which makes them a healthy weight gaining foods for babies and toddlers.Potato can be added to kids diet in hundreds of ways.

BUTTER: Butter is not always unhealthy being an adult we might not have a requirement of butter but for kids it good to have sufficient amount of butter in their meals.Just make sure you stick to this one in moderation and avoid going into too much indulgence.

PEANUT BUTTER: You can whip up quick sandwiches for your kid’s lunch box. Nut butters like peanut butter and almond butter are a rich source of unsaturated fats and proteins, that could be great when it comes to weight gain for kids.

BANANAS: Bananas are not only rich source of carbohydrate they also provide vitamin B6 & B12, magnesium potassium and fiber.you can mix it in milkshakes or puddings along with dark chocolate and cream. Your kid won’t have a tough time eating it.

MILK: Milk is a good natural source of protein and carbohydrates, not to mention other important nutrients as well. Make sure your kid has at least 2 glasses of milk a day, in different forms such as milkshakes, cereals or smoothies. Add fresh cream, made from whole milk, to your kid’s cereal or fruit salad.

AVOCADOS: These are good choices as they are good source of fat, calories,fiber,potassium,vitamins and minerals.This makes them an obvious healthier choice over other fatty foods. Ripe avocado pulp can be used as spread or dip.

CHICKEN & LEAN MEAT: They are rich in protein,iron and fats and thus help the kids to have proper growth.
