CRISPR clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats. I can remember that but what I can tell is that it was the methods used by a given virus to replicate and modify the genes of it's host. And Cas-9 is an ezime to destroy the marked target. We are using living organism's own mechanims to hack into genes.
