70 years or so after Jesus died John wrote in Revelations, as given to him by God, these verses…
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
and again we read this…
Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Then we read from James, Jesus brother, this verse…
Jas 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
We are told we are judged by our works (our behavior according to Bible principles of Law). And faith, for the act of faith, is meaningless without repenting and changing our behavior.
So last night I am talking to 2 Christians handing out little books. They told me Paul said we are saved by faith and not by works should any man boast (Eph. 2:8-9). I showed them from the bible these exact verses I posted here. And I showed them here what Paul said also…
Rom 2:13 For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
The doers of the Law shall be justified. They looked at me, looked at the bible verses and then decided the bible was wrong and that all they need is faith in Jesus Christ.
Questions:
Did Paul have the power to override Jesus, John, and James?
Did Paul start a new religion?
How can Paul say not by works yet here he writes that he follows everything written in the Law and Prophets?…
Act 24:14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
You see, even Christians get brainwashed into their religious dogma. Same as the Jews do. Christians are very hard to teach the bible to. They have years and years of preconceived ideas that when analyzed are simply not true. And to their detriment they follow exactly what the Jews are following - doctrines of men that make the Law of no effect.
And to make matters worse the 2 people last night turned their heads and out their hands over their ears and called me "Satan" for showing them the bible verses I posted here about works.
The problem with Christians is that they DO NOT UNDERSTAND PAUL and they DO NOT UNDERSTAND JUDAISM. Therefore they d o not get what Paul is saying about works. Religious works. Works of the Pharisees. As Paul said "We (the Jews) developed all kinds of rules (not laws) that no one can follow".
And when people read these things they do not realize the Law is in effect and it is Pharisee works Paul talks about. And that is what this board is about.

Paul didn't preach a different gospel than Jesus.
Your picture of Jesus is blasphemous. Jesus didn't have long hair like a woman. He wasn't European looking. And he wasn't an effeminate man. He was a man who worked as a carpenter for twenty years.
