It is good to discover the will of God in our lives. At least his intention:
I pray, first of all, that deprecations, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be done for all men,
by the kings and by all those who are in eminence, so that we may have a quiet and peaceful life, in all piety and honesty.
Because this is good and pleasing before God, our Savior,
that wants all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. I Timothy 2: 1-2-3-4 {...}.
God wants all men to be saved and to have knowledge.
Friends, the Bible, Word of God, affirms that his plan, from the creation of the world, was that all men be saved. Then the Apostle exhorted that prayers be made: first to enjoy a still and tranquil life, affirming that it was pleasing to God our Lord, second so that they knew his plan of salvation.
If men can be saved by their will, it is because He is the perfect Savior. The name of Jesus means: God saves.
But saved from what?
Of the consequences of their actions that have been sinned before our Creator. And the Bible adds: the wages of sin is death:
"Because the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life, through Christ Jesus, our Lord." Romans 6:23.
All sinned and therefore, if there is no repentance, all are condemned. Every man who practices evil and does not subject himself to his Creator is a slave to evil. But Jesus came, to save and free all sinners.
To be saved, it is necessary to have knowledge of the truth and Jesus claims to be:
"Jesus said to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life, No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14: 6.
And this statement is found in I Timothy:
"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, Jesus Christ, man, who gave himself in price, of redemption for all, to serve as a testimony in his time." Chapter 2: 5-6.
Dear friends, God has his ambassadors here on earth and not special men.
Children saved and purified in the blood of the Lamb, because one day they accepted Jesus as their only and sufficient Savior.
Many centuries ago men chose false gods, and even today many still worship idols as a pretext that it is so that the true God must be worshiped.
Beloved, that is not the truth of the Gospel. Jesus is, the head. It was God, the Father, and no one else who chose him and sovereignly gave him a name that is above all the name, to which the whole knee will bend and the whole tongue will confess that it is ONLY Lord.
Humbly and only because he loved with the same love of the Father, Jesus gave his life, so that through his sacrifice, all men could be saved. He and no one else is the only mediator between God and men to lead us to eternal life.
On the cross, He gave Himself and his death in sacrifice, was the rescue that frees us from evil. His forgiveness brought us closer to God and therefore He wants everyone, without exception and without exclusion, to be saved.
Any human image or invention can substitute or represent God. Jesus paid the totality of our debt of sinners.
Do you want to be saved?
This is the important question that the human being has not yet known or does not want to answer. Foolish walks man, because there are no two ways: Either he is saved or he is lost, and if it is the second case, he will have to face the judgment, it is the Bible that affirms it.
Friend and lady, put your trust in Jesus. The question may arise: if God wants all men to be saved, why does not this happen?
It would be really easy and Jesus would not have to go through Calvary. Only that man forgot that He is three times Holy and abominates sin.
When we interrogate the man, we find that many accepted the God of salvation, but many do not want to hear about it. The fact that God desires all men to be saved is not enough.
Our God is not a righteous man, so it is necessary for man to accept him freely as his Lord.
Still inexperienced, I thought that people had no faith and that is why they did not know this wonderful God who loves us. But over time, I realize that many know that God exists and is calling them, but they persist in rejecting it.
The truth of Jesus affirms: "Because many are called, but few, chosen." Matthew 22:14.
Who are the chosen ones finally?
They are those who respond to the invitation of Jesus
Why are they so few?
Because few respond to your invitation. To get lost, it is enough to blindly follow his path without worrying or bothering to know and do the will of his Creator. To be saved, it is necessary to change your life, leave your old nature, and follow Jesus.
What is surprising is that God wants to make a change in hearts and save the lost. He tasted his love, delivering his only Son in our rescue.
